History & Description
This variety was raised by H C Princep at Buxted Park and first recorded in 1902, the year of Edward V11’s coronation.
It is a large, handsome apple, flushed orange-red with dark red steaks and a long stalk.
The apple has a sweet, light taste.
It forms a vigorous growing tree with fruit that ripens in mid September.
